Running right on schedule on a beautiful Autumn morning, Amtrak Train 20 (the northbound Crescent) with AMTK 206 - AMTK 135 crosses the massive James River bridge connecting Lynchburg, VA with Madison Heights. This is part of the former Southern Railway's mainline between Washington D.C. and New Orleans, now known as Norfolk Southern's Washington District.
