POED 3489 at Cook's Crossing |
| Description: |
Pan Am's POED heads west through CPF-201 (Cook's Crossing) in Scarborough, ME with a nice mixture of EMD's on the point. At this time it was common to see NS SD40-2's on PAR road freights as NS was leasing eight of them. The HLCX units had mostly gone back at this point, they had been leased since about 2012. I believe this was the last trip on Pan Am for 7860. Also at this time CSX run-through power had just returned to the SEPO/POSE freights, so you could get quite a wide variety of power especially in Districts 2 and 3. Power: NS 3489 - NS 3491 - MEC 601 - HLCX 7860. |
