Description:  M426 with MEC 7518 - MEC 7542 lead M426 over the Merrimack River from Bradford into Haverhill on an overcast Friday afternoon after Thanksgiving. They had set out some cars from the headpin and now had intermodal up front followed by about 50-60 mixed freight, including a long block of eighteen empty cement cars for Dragon Cement in Thomaston, Maine. M426 would meet their counterpart M427 just up the line at CPF-273 in Plaistow, NH.

I'd come down taking a gamble of a potential M427 with a CSX SD40-2 leader (which did end up trailing anyway) but a blue C40-8 works just fine too!
