MEC 606
Title:  MEC 606
Description:  On a beautiful Friday afternoon I heard PO-3 ask for permission to leave Rigby with some propane tanks for Dead River in Westbrook. Not only was it a treat to see a train on the Cumberland Mills RT, but a six axle made it even better, being Pan Am's unique "snoot nose" unit; MEC 606. They are seen here crossing Congress St. just beyond the Portland Amtrak Station. This line is the first fev miles of the former MEC Mountain Division.
